250 days of wear as of April 1st. Gave them a wash Friday night, and did some repairs to the crotch area yesterday. Plan on getting them professionally darned at some point, for the time being, a couple pieces of Sugar Cane 1966 denim will have to do.
Not sure why from my phone, to my computer, to photobucket, the photos get rotated all over the place. I’ve edited these on photobucket to correct orientation. Hopefully that aren’t facing the right direction when I post them, correct themselves later on today.
1 year in, 275 days of wear so far. That’s been an average of just over 5 days a week the past 52 weeks. Going to cut back to somewhere between 3 to 4 days of wear a week the rest of the way out. Tried taking multiple fit pix, but they’re closing in on 30 days of wear since their last wash, and IMO are starting to look sloppy. Going to put off washing through July though since I’ll be wearing them less often, and after that next wash we’ll need to have the damage at the seat repaired. One of these photos compares them to a new pair of Warehouse 1002, made out of the same banner denim. I feel color is more correct in that photo, and in the fit photo, than the two laid out front and back shots.
300 days of wear, fresh from wash number 6 (not including two initial washes). heading for Oregon tomorrow, to Indigo Proof for repairs. Washing revealed a little more damage and thin spots than I realized were there. Comparing the 1001 denim to Warehouse’s 1000XX denim, even though there is only a minor difference in weight, the latter holds up better to wear and tear.
